Your browser does not support the audio element.

Jen Rubin shares her experience during the COVID-19 pandemic in Madison. She talks about having loved ones spread out across various COVID hotspots during the spring of 2020, strategizing about how to bring her daughter home from her east-coast college, and driving 16 hours without stopping at gas stations in order to see her parents. She describes a moment when the family celebrated Passover via Zoom, and her daughter logged in separately from her own quarantine room in the same house. Jen also shares about her connection to the South Madison community.
