An anonymous narrator shares her experience during the COVID-19 pandemic in Madison. As a Hmong American, she describes the challenges of encountering racist attitudes when she goes out in public and how these experiences compound the anxiety she already feels about the virus itself. She also talks about her commitment to social justice in both her professional and personal lives, and recounts the experience of participating in a Black Lives Matter protest in Madison after the murder of George Floyd.
