In the early 1980s when Marc was the staff person for Community Action on Latin America (CALA), they coordinated a program that brought Victor Rubio of the FMLN/FDR together with Neo Mnumzana of the African National Congress (ANC) to speak. The program was titled "Revolution Knows No boundaries." Linking the anti-apartheid struggle with the Salvadoran revolution was very much in the spirit of the times and their organizing. This is a photo of Marc being arrested at the "glass bank" on Madison's Capitol Square for blocking the doors in a demonstration demanding divestment from apartheid. It was part of the tent city campaign on the Wisconsin State Capitol lawn.
