Billy Feitlinger has worked for social and economic justice for all throughout his adult life and he served Madison, Dane County and the State of Wisconsin in many ways over his long career in public service. He co-founded Common Wealth Development Corporation in 1979 and was elected to Madison’s Common Council 3 times during the 1980s. He served as executive assistant to Dane County Executive, Kathleen Falk and he was the Executive Director of WIARA (Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans) from 2004-2015.
